Littlefoot is a small JavaScript library that moves your footnotes inline, so readers don't have to deal with scrolling back and forth between footnotes and body.

It is a lighter, zero-dependency alternative to Bigfoot.

You can see it in action on this blog starting today!1 It's designed to be easy for front-end developers to set up and customize, as well as easy for readers to use.

It works on mobile and desktop devices, and is licensed under the Public Domain.

For more information, see the official Littlefoot homepage.

  1. For example, if you have JavaScript enabled, you should be able to view this footnote inline with its paragraph.
